Our Collection

After all of the recent additions to our collection we were completely out of space to display them, so we bought another bookshelf and spent the weekend setting them all up.  I'm so happy with the way it turned out, I just want to stare at them all day.

The center of the display focuses on all of our originals, with the main three ghouls at the top in front of the Draculocker.  We're missing Operetta and Rochelle is a Ghouls Night Out that we're using as a stand-in until we get an original Rochelle.

On the left shelf we have our Ghouls Rule at the top with Catty Noir in the center until we get Ghouls Rule Cleo.  We also have Jane Boolittle on the top too because she doesn't really fit in with any group.  I like her a lot so I wanted her somewhere she'd be seen well.

Under that we have our Egyptian shelf, which we are very proud of.  It has the Cleo's Vanity playset with Nefera de Nile and some of our different versions of Cleo; Frights Camera Action, Creepateria, Picture Day, and Lab Partners.

The next two shelves have our Scaris display.  We split the cafe playset between the two shelves and used the backing from some of the boxes.  We don't have Scaris Clawdeen, Skelita, Jinafire, or Catrine yet so we used Ghouls Night Out Clawdeen, Art Class Skelita, and New Scaremester Jinafire and Catrine as stand-ins for now.

And finally, on the bottom shelf we have our boxed Music Festival dolls at the back, with Creepateria Howleen, Draculaura, and Coffin Bean Toralei leaning against them because they don't have stands.  At the front we have the Ghouls Night Out dolls that aren't being used elsewhere.

On the right shelf we have Sweet Screams and my Ultimate Clawdeen at the top, with the empty Sweet Scream boxes and a boxed Sweet 1600 Frankie at the back.  We also have the Lab Partners Ghoulia sitting in the chair that came with the Draculocker.

Next we have our Ghoul Sports with their boxes on display behind them and their accessories next to them.

Under that we have our 13 Wishes, we're missing Gigi and Freshwater lagoona.

Below that we have all of our Frights Camera Actions.

And finally, on the bottom we have our boxed Dead Tireds at the back and our Save Frankie dolls with Picture Day Frankie.  We also put Home Ick Abbey on that shelf and gave her Jackson's sign to hold.

Oh, and I forgot to show the Draculaura that comes with the Dracucoffin.  She hangs up-side-down in the coffin with her pet Count Fabulous.

So that's it for our collection.  Not pictured we have Clawdeen from the Werewolf Sisters two-pack and we have Cupid on the way!  I will post pictures of Cupid once she arrives.

Ultimate Clawdeen

Last night I couldn't sleep, so I stayed up and played around with all of my extra Clawdeens, trying to make my perfect Clawdeen.  I had clothes, arms, hands and accessories all in little piles on the living room floor as I tried different combinations.  I am beyond happy with the final result and so completely in love with this doll.  She is my favorite Clawdeen and is one of my favorite dolls period.  Sam sweetly proclaimed her "Ultimate Clawdeen."

She is Music Festival Clawdeen, with New Scaremester clothes and belt, and some of the jewelery from I Love Fashion.  I swapped her left hand for I Love Fashion Clawdeen's hand because it had that awesome three finger claw ring.  Also on her left arm, I gave her the gold spiked bracelet from New Scaremester, and one of the black spiked bracelets from I Love Fashion.  On  her right wrist I gave her a plain gold bangle and a plain black bangle from Music Festival Clawdeen.  I love everything about this doll.  Her face is the prettiest I've ever seen on a Clawdeen, her hair is beautiful, and her outfit is freaky fab!  She was so much fun to put together and the fact that she's the first doll I've customized makes her even more special.

After I finished making "Ultimate Clawdeen" I played around with New Scaremester Clawdeen and I Love Fashion Clawdeen.  I didn't put nearly as much effort into the other two because I was so happy with the first one.  I still might do more with them in the future though.

I washed all of the gel out of New Scaremester Clawdeen's hair and I think it looks a lot nicer.  I still wasn't crazy about the green at the front of her hair though, so I played around with tying it back.  I wish I had a tiny doll sized hair clip so that I could pin it flat to her instead though.  I am really terrible at styling hair, but I'll probably play around with her some more in the future and see what I can come up with.

Total Toy Domination

Wow, what a day!  We picked up a lot of great stuff!  Today the Total Toy Domination sale started at Big W, so we headed over this morning to check it out.  We got the two Ghoul Sports dolls that we were missing, Clawdeen and Spectra.

Clawdeen is my favorite of the two, I was super excited to get her.  Her little baseball uniform is super cute and the bubble in her mouth is adorable.  The bubble is removable though, which is good because I know some people probably won't like it.

Spectra is really cute too, even though I'm not crazy about the color yellow.  Her hair is really cute in that curly side ponytail.

We also got Creepateria Draculaura, which completes our Creepateria set.  I think we're going to end up displaying our Creepateria and Coffin Beans together.  They're a similar theme, so I think they'll look nice together.

We also decided to pick up all three Dead Tired dolls, Robecca, Spectra, and Lagoona.  They were on sale for $14, so we decided to just get them all now.  They are the only Dead Tired dolls we have so far, so we're going to leave them boxed for now.

Of course I had to grab New Scaremester Clawdeen.  Like I said in a previous post, I'm not that crazy about her hair, but I'm totally in love with her outfit.  I'm also looking forward to playing around with her hair and washing the gel out.  Hopefully I can make it look a little more to my liking.

After Big W we headed over to Toys "R" Us to see what they had.  Even though they weren't on sale we decided to grab Scaris Frankie and the Scaris Cleo and Lagoona two pack so we can start working on our Scaris display.  Cleo is my favorite out of those three, the blue streaks in her hair are super pretty.  A while back we also got the Scaris Cafe Playset, which I forgot to mention at the time, so we're going to set them all up with the playset.

I also finally had to get I Love Fashion Clawdeen, I couldn't resist her any longer.  The outfits that come in the pack are really cute and the Clawdeen is super pretty.  The underside of her hair is black this time, which is different for Clawdeen.  I think she will look amazing in the New Scaremester outfit.  I think the black in her hair will really add to the affect of the black leather jacket.  Maybe after I mess with New Scaremester Clawdeen's hair I'll put her in one of the outfits from the pack.  I'm sooo excited to play around and make a unique Clawdeen!

After Toys "R" Us we headed home and Sam dropped me off so he could head to work.  I had a long day of unboxing and picture taking, but it was fun.  I also put I Love Fashion Clawdeen in New Scaremester clothes, she looks super cute!

Later on in the day, after Sam got home from work, we decided to head back out for a bit.  We weren't really expecting to get anything, we just wanted to have a look at Kmart.  Once we were there we saw that the Music Festival dolls were on sale for $13, so we decided to grab them. It was Clawdeen, Abbey, and Venus and  I also got an extra Clawdeen so I could play around more with the fashion pack.  Music Festival Clawdeen is super pretty and has awesome hair, it's super long and curly.

After Kmart we headed decided to head over to Target to see what we would find there.  13 Wishes Abbey was still on clearance so we finally picked her up.  All of them had pretty crazy hair, but ours turned out not too bad once we got her out of the box.  Eventually I want to practice a boil perm on a cheap doll and if it turns out good I'll do it on Abbey.

We also grabbed the Ghouls Night Out Four Pack with Ghoulia, Clawdeen, Venus, and Rochelle.  We want to use Rochelle as a stand in until we get an original Rochelle, and Clawdeen is going to be a stand in until we get Scaris Clawdeen.  They are all really pretty, but I especially like Venus.  Venus is such an awesome character and she's really pretty too, so I'm always happy to find a new version of her.

After that we headed back home. We had spent waaay more than we intended, but we got a lot of awesome new dolls.  Later tonight I'll probably play around with all of my new versions of Clawdeen and try to make some nice looking dolls.  I think I'll wash the gel out of New Scaremester Clawdeen's hair too.
